617 Display Fundraiser

617 are fundraising for future displays that will back the club and look to provide visual as well as vocal support on our quest for promotion. Any donations would be hugely appreciated.

617 SQUADRON DISPLAY FUNDRAISER

617 are looking to raise funds to create several displays over the course of this season ranging from block 7 to large stadium displays. These will be slightly different from previous displays due to looking to push the boundaries even further. We believe these help to push the atmosphere, backing and support from all of us, the 12th Man to an even higher level and we need your support to make these as great as we possibly can. Any donations are hugely appreciated.

I saw this on Facebook. Great idea - I see your comment about using biodegradable materials with a robust cleanup operation in place following the issues with the council last season.

Thank you, will be comprehensive clean ups on the day after the game. Everything will be biodegradable where possible which is 99% of what we have planned.

They put a stop to displays that did not use environmentally friendly materials.

And take advantage of a guaranteed full stand. We're reasonably unique in the lower leagues to be able to guarantee that I imagine.

Good luck with this. I think the displays have been great. It's something else that makes the Sincil Bank atmosphere the best in league 2.

I've donated on the previous occasions and will do again.

Favourite was definitely the County one last season - the Lancaster with the yellow background.

Ohh that was a Lanc....wasn't sure at all what is was, decided it was the Cathedral...

Have struggled most times to work out what is being displayed.

And biodegradable stuff?? Paper?? If so still a huge amount of litter.

What about a super giant cloth flag/banner that we can all support over our heads, and do so either each home game or occasional home games. Gets re-used, no waste, no litter, guarantees the picture/display.

If it was one whole block at least in size, it could progress from one end of coop upper to the other & back again (or maybe move down to coop lower and back along)

I think the draw to stand displays are that they can be changed rather than being samey.
