Utterly pathetic :2:

She's not in control. In her case her trigger is Christmas, there will be more behind it.
Christmas has been depressing for me because I lost my mum when I was 15 at Christmas , there are things that affect us, we don't choose them. I agree it seems trivial but it is real to her.

More in that article than first glance. The media sensational headline is to pull people in and if you don't unpack the article it does sound pathetic.

She clearly states in there that she had a very sad (in the old fashioned way) childhood. She has issues that need addressing like Trekker says.

Santa lives in all of us. He lives in all of us and our inner child. He lives in the magic of the children's eyes as they light up at all the images and our hearts soften.

You can stop panicking JF and look within and you will find Santa San (San is the Japanese endearment BTW they add on to the end of Santa name)

Agrees with Trekker she needs help to come to terms with her childhood and then she can move on

Never mind she has the other 364 days of the year to sit and think about real life.

I never know what to make of these, first impression is that she is a complete whack job and needs to get over herself.. Of course Santa is not real how is that a big deal as a fully grown adult? But then I think well it's so strange she must have some mental health issues. It said she was on anti depressants but it must go beyond depression if she is still devastated that Santa is not real decades later, so I kind of feel bad for her. Its a weird case (although I'm sure the newspaper tried to make her look as ridiculous as possible.)

She did that all on her own!
