I worked in Birmingham years ago plenty times on nights. First briefing. On the shift. Do not turn right on your way out. Gangs car racing through the night. Police did nothing shit scared. Be 10 time worse now.

My particular favourite moment was my mate and I getting chased through the City centre at about 11.30 in the morning whilst walking to uni by two knife wielding youths. Seems they were the trend setters and ahead of the times when it comes to knife crime. Understood them to be muggers and unfortunately other students were not so lucky.
