21/08/2018: League Two Results, Scorers & Attendances

Exeter stay top after two goals in the first 14 minutes took the points from a game dominated by Cambridge.

Swindon continue to shoot themselves in the foot: leading 2-0 at Crawley at half time, they self-destructed early in the second half with two red cards (Diagouraga 51, Dunne 53). That allowed Crawley to snatch an unlikely 2-2 draw thanks to two Ollie Palmer goals - the second a penalty after 99 minutes.

Northampton's poor start continues with a 1-0 defeat at struggling Morecambe, who had keeper Barry Roche sent off late in the game.

Colchester had seven shots on target against Crewe and scored with six of them. Five players made the scoresheet, meaning that Crewe now have a negative goal difference despite their own 6-0 win on the opening day.

Yeovil and Oldham mustered just two shots on target between them in a game that rather predictably ended 0-0.

There were sub-2,000 gates at Forest Green (1,834), Morecambe (1,594) and Macclesfield (1,496).
