As much as I disdain at the pathetic, infantile Argentian hatred propogated by the usual suspects on here, all because they outclassed and English team in a football game, I could not help but marvel at the antics of the Spanish Pilot, who, whilst flying a plane loan of Argentinians into Buenos Airies, informed them, via the intercom, that they had beaten Spain to win the World Cup, only to come clean on landing the plane.

Not surprisingly he had to lock himself in the cabin until the plane had cleared.

You’re right they did outclass us , they were brilliant for that last half hour.
Absolutely no problem with the result.
They deserved the win.
So if they can play like that, why act like that in the final.
I have no issue with any country, I’m sure the Argentians are a fantastic people with a rich culture.
But their football and rugby teams behaved like spoilt brats last week and have done that country a disservice.
You win well,you lose well.
Compare the behaviour with France in our last game? Just as much if not more friction in our joint history.

Their Rugby team did nothing wrong; it was the English team and officials who behaved like idiots.

They antagonised everyone they came into contact with before the game and like clowns afterwards, disrupting the Argentian press conference.

The Argentinians are a class act at Rugby and behave nothing like their footballing counterparts; they are welcomed everywhere they go.

English Rugby, on the other hand.....

So the Maradona 86 inspired football shirt they wore in the match ? Completely normal to do that and not at all provocative?
Given all that had happened in the week, no attempt to pour just a little bit of water on the nationalist flames? In the spirit of sport and rugby in particular?

And there is nothing wrong with anything related to Maradona 86; I have had that image as my screensaver forever.

Go ahead and ignore all that happened before? Two of England players last year were racially abused. No sanction. This year at Twickers no action was taken when manager walked out of media post match. First England try, two Argentinians chin England players. This is after try given, not in heat of game. I can except the punches during the game as part of rugby but no touch of officials is sacrosanct. Was it deliberate or accidental?

The throwing, post match of items and water over officials is not ok. After the game you shake hands and congratulate others not abuse them. The last two times England have played in Argentina the behaviour has been appalling. The game has to make a stand and abuse of officials before, during and after the game should produce sanction.

The fact you have a screen of a cheat says more about you than the cheat.

No, there were allegations of racial abuse, later found to be unsubstantiated, and when asked for names of the perpetrators there were none forthcoming.

And the miking up of officials pick up just about everything happening on the pitch, surprisingly there was nothing in the way of supporting evidence.

The Argentinians play South Africa, New Zealand and Australia with far more regularity than the play England, all teams with an abundance of targets for racial abuse, but guess what, no reports of any instances.

There was an instance, going back 6 or 7 years, when a number of players, two, I think, where banned for posting racist remarks related to a political issue; the matter was dealt with in double quick time.

Incidents of racism on the Rugby pitch have been very few and far between, buts lets have a look at some of the real ones, not made up bollocks to support an infantile hatred.

Ugo Monye racially abused by a supporter which led to a Police investigation; where did this happen? Exeter - thats Exeter in the West Country, not Exeter in Patagonia.

Luther Burrell complained of racist abuse in a game against Newcastle, a complaint which was later upheld - I suppose that was just those cheeky Geordies just having a bit of fun.

Anyone who has been to Twickenham, particularly as an away supporter, knows that racsim is alive, well, and thriving in that particlar part of West London - I have personally witnessed some of these pissed up toffs abusing anyone who dares to wear the opposition colours, and on more than one occasion.

I have mates at the Rugby club who refuse to go anymore after being disgusted by what they have witnessed at games.

If the English have any serious complaints about racism at games I suggest they start at home in tackling the issue.

Pollock was his usual infantile self.

His own team mates know hes a ****.

My daughters boyfriend plays for Ireland and knows Pollock from school rugby. He says hes an absolute prick

Well, if you want to talk about cheating, lets have a look at the two most prominent instances in Rugby:

1. The fake blood capsule issue involving Harlequins

2. Saracens illegally breaching the salary cap and getting relegated as a consequence.

I am sure if you look into both with some depth, you will no doubt be able to find Argentinian influences at play.

You know where this all comes from: sore fucking losers trying to bring the Falklands into play.

And if its not the Argentinians its the German manager getting it in the neck

It might help if people ceased bigging up the players into something they are not - its funny how no one can bring themselves to blame the real culprits, the players.

And stop being a fucking hypocrite about 86; if an England player had have scored in that manner, there would have been a statue built for the player concerned.

Yes, coming out in the 86 shirt was not very sporting, and it was always going to get an adverse reaction from the thin-skinned English.

Maybe the English Rugby team should reflect on why that happened and spend a little time reflecting on how they behaved up to that point - the antics on the bus certainly did not help.

Pollock has prodigious talent and a vacuum between the ears.

Someone needs to sit him down and have a word with him; if he carries on with his antics he will get seriously hurt.

The French are already targeting him after his European Cup antics, and the Saffers will be on the look out for him.
