I've probably watched him half a dozen times live (90 mins) and seen all his goals, probably not enough to warrant saying he's worth 90m haha but for his age he looks a class act.

I really don't understand why we have accumulated so many options at left back which is likely to result in a decent player, who can cover both sides, leaving the club.

I suspect this is probably an agent talking it up, but until Liverpool make a move with PSG and make direct contact, it's impossible to tell. I like Neto as a player and we know that Blueco's business model means they have to sell as well as they buy, so it would not surprise me to see them cash in on Neto - and from the players perspective as Chelsea do low basics and the rest is performance related, I've heard of more than one agent moaning about their salary control approach - so if Savinho isn't resolved quickly, then I wouldn't be at all surprised if we tried to land him.

Davies is short term cover, Udogie may well be suffering from a structural physical issue that means he will have to be rotated. So Robinson makes sense as well.

Souza is a prospect - whom if we keep him, will need a season or two of settling in and transition.

So it really doesn't surprise me.

If we look back and see how many times in the last two season we've had to play square pegs in round holes, it does ultimately mean we have two players for every defensive position and one or two who can also play further forwards - the fear of getting caught out by injuries again, is a real one.
