2026 Summer Transfer Window Thread

no they will often wait out in search for the best deal possible for them. That's naive to assume they only act in the player's best interests
Surely if they just did that though without caring about what the players interests are then eventually the players would bin them off and word then spreads to the point where no player would hire them

it’s waiting if better club more money and just a better opportunity comes by for him

Personally, Fall Seck is the one I'm most excited about. I can't think of a time in the past where we've had a similar profile in midfield - maybe Leroy Fer

This is absolutely spot on.

Genuinely, I'm a bit surprised that people aren't aware of how scummy agents are. It's been widely reported in recent years.

I’d say we’ve moved on from seck after watching matos his press conference today hopefully this target won’t get leaked to the press until done
I did see that it was abit of a strange response.

Maybe he's been told or trying to be less enthusiastic about potential signings after last night.

Are we pursuing any other targets for midfield @VitalSwansea? Any update on Seck? Any update on the LCB target?

I don't know why people think we're in the market for a CB. We went with only 2 senior options last year and a crocked backup. We're already infinitely more prepared this summer. 3 experienced players, one full back who can deputise with ease and a young academy exciting prospect who's shown more than enough to be relied upon for an emergency 5th choice option.

The club has shown no signs that they're looking to offload Burgess and to me Matos cemented his importance last night by name dropping his leadership. We can argue whether or not our options are good enough eventually for Promotion, but they were never replacing either of those 2 starting this summer. And even if you felt Cabango needed to go, i don't feel people realise how sought after he would be at this level. Nearly 300 appearances at 25 years old isn't a fluke. He's not perfect but he was far from the problem last year.

Personally, i think Lissah's presence will make everybody at the back better. If he curtails even half of the attacks we conceded when Key was struggling to stop anything, it'll make a huge difference to whoever the 2 start at CB. We look like a proper unit hypothetically now as far as being able to defend from set pieces and threaten at the other end. I'm putting Stamenic in that bucket also.

Matos has said we wants to bring in another defender. Weve been linked with several
