2026 Summer Transfer Window Thread

I don’t think we need to look at players like Titraoui and Almeida for that midfield profile we’re missing. Would be great to sign that level of player of course but it’s not necessary in my opinion. This is where we leverage Jamestown to unearth us a gem. No need to go and do deals with Valencia and battle teams like Lens for players, those are always going to be quite tough to close for a club like ours. Let’s be cleverer here and use the resource that we’ve paid good money for. I know the club have said it sits alongside the already existing recruitment system but I say we trust the track record and let it find what we need.

We absolutely need that sort of Galbraith profile but we probably need to set our sights a bit lower yeah. I was impressed with Zidane Iqbal at the World Cup albeit it was only a couple of games. Had good data for Utrecht in 24/25 but seems to be out of favour. Could be an option

never forget the problems Agents cause in these situations
Players from Africa make up a larger part of our squad now, which might help, but agent interference does not surprise me. I've always thought that incoming transfers should require the player to pay the slice of the transfer to their own agent rather than the buying club, which would change agents' attitudes

Seck has liked a post on instagram today saying he wants to join the Swans as well. Hopefully he pushes his agents into the move now.

Disagree. The fee would just get passed onto the club still.

Realistically once Stewart signs, how many more players do we need?

An out and out number 8
Striker if Vipi does go
A center half
