2026 Summer Transfer Window Thread

Think a lot of the leaks aren’t really coming from the club though, it’s part and parcel of signing high potential and high profile players. It’s a shame but in a weird way I’m not too bothered about transfers leaking because to me it shows that we’re looking at the right sorts of players

Others improve the squad instantly. Also not sure how much we'd have actually seen of him this season tbh.

You are right I don't think he would have made an immediate impact now but its the sort of high upside Jamestown loves to make and they very rarely get them wrong.

I also feel like we haven't utlised their expertise enough this window imo. Fall and Opoku were signs of us utilizing that where as a majority of other signings havent.

Also think it'll take time on the JT front, imagine we'd see more of those sort of signings from next window onwards.

I'd imagine a lot of these targets were drawn up way before that partnership was sorted.
 
Prefer things like this to happen with weeks left of the window. These things happen so if it’s off, onto the next target. Hoping the other two get done but ultimately just got to trust the process. Been a promising start 🤞

Whilst this is true, he does look like the sort of midfielder that with some luck could be worth £30m+ in a few years. A really unique profile.
 
I feel like with our recruitment so far and JTA in general, I’m not really getting too attached to the names being linked because if they fall through I still feel like we’ll add real quality to our squad no matter who it is

We need what 2/3 signings and there’s a month left to go

We’re in a great spot with lots of time. We have great negotiating power with Vipi and clubs can’t really mess us about because we aren’t desperate at all.
