It wouldn’t be the end of the world for Cabango and Burgess to be starting but in my opinion, neither are suited to the way that Matos wants us to play. I think we have to make changes in that area to progress.

I would love to hear his genuine reasons behind it though, you can't state location is the issue and then join Stoke

I’m not even sure I believe it was a player tbh, that pic of the 3 of them just made it look like a group of mates. It looked more like Lisbie than Rak-Sakyi if it was though.
We seem to get this more with English/domestically based players than anything. Jacob Wright recently, Ellis Simms a couple of years ago. It’s why I prefer the foreign markets, players like Franco and Widell seem like they actually want to be here. Maybe it’s because they only know Swansea as a club and have no pre-conceived ideas about it as a place? Idk I’m probably over thinking that.

I am hoping we have some activity in the next week or so. We're a month away from the season now and we still dont have a RW and we have a gap in the midfield with Galbraith/Yalcoue going.
We will probably have a gap at RB with Key potentially going aswell.

Swansea will always be a hard place to sell when you’re a young man earning that sort of money, they want to be in the big cities. That has always been a challenge for us. It’s why we lost out last year with Poku and Kone (which actually worked out okay for us.) I think in Wright’s case it was more to do with club prospects now I think about it. East Anglia isn’t exactly central either. Hopefully we can start becoming more successful on the pitch so the geography doesn’t factor in as much.

Offer people a ridiculous wage and they'll live in the arse end of anywhere.
