Starting it now!

Stephy Mavididi rumoured to be leaving, only clubs linked so far are Watford and Derby. We won’t be able to afford his wages but this is the perfect kind of winger signing for us. Poor last season but brilliant for Leicester in his first season. Pipe dream but a suggestion none the less.

Not another LW. Atm we have Inoussa, Eom and Widell who all play there.

We have to get an out and out RW in.

I wonder if we revisit Rak-Saki? Or has that ship probably sailed by now.

I like Eom tbh, actually had a good season if you look at his underlying numbers, been creative but others have let him down with finishing etc. Looking at some of the stats, he should have had at least 5 or 6 assists this season. He’s created a similar amount of chances to Abdul Fatawu and actually has 2 more big chances created with 10 but Fatawu sits on 7 assists while Eom has 2. Can see him exploding soon and having a very productive season.

Will be good to see Inoussa too as his injury really hampered his season.

I’d still sign Mavididi if we got the opportunity, excellent to watch and a goalscoring winger. The only question with any of those Leicester players (outside of obvious high wages) is the the commitment and attitude as none of them should have been relegated. Love Rak-Sakyi but reportedly didn’t want to come here when we were after him. Think his move to Stoke was only a loan so there could be another opportunity for us there.

Where have you been all my life? I have been saying the same thing about Eom but nobody seems to see it! He is a very intelligent player if you watch him and can pick out a pass very well. Obviously he has his negatives but he can improve

Decision making has been light years ahead of last season, continually puts decent quality balls into the box, we’ve just gotta start finishing em.

Think all Swans fans can see there’s a player in Eom but the reality is that your wingers have to be hitting at the very least 15 G/A a season if you want to be competitive in this league. We have a fair few technically gifted players now in the team but you need for want of a better word ‘killers’ in the final third. Those that attack the penalty box, get shots off and are clinical, Eom isn’t that unfortunately.

Mavididi would be a no from me, attitude and work rate issues. Top choice looking at the EFL would be Cozier-Duberry but there’s not a great selection for RW from the Championship and below. A rogue one could be Manhoef from Stoke, 1 year left on his deal.. Maybe a little out of reach

Don’t think he needs to score a hatful as long as he’s contributing creatively which he has been imo. He has a lovely shot on him but we have to work on getting him into those positions more often. I really think he’s worth persevering with. Obviously when I say he doesn’t need to score many I mean that in the context of a team that wants to challenge for the top 6 not necessarily a side expected to be there. I’m confident he will have a good season numbers wise next year if he starts for us.

I still like Mavididi but yes, if he’s not willing to do the pressing then Matos won’t want him anyway. Manhoef is a good player, feels like he’s on the verge of having a real standout season. I don’t think we’d be able to poach players from the Championship with our wage bill though. It’s why I’m puzzled by the talk of us going for more experienced EFL players, we can’t afford the good ones.

I seen Reyes Clearly mentioned on a Wales Online article a few weeks ago I guess they mean looking in lg1 for talent instead of abroad like we did we Galbraith.

There was a BBC article out today aswell which said the club want to target a midfielder who will add physicality to the team as they feel like they are missing that.

Dom Ballard linked also
I actually haven’t seen much of Ballard considering he is the top scorer for League One. There seems to be more hype around Tolaj from Plymouth. We’ve seen the top scorer from the league below work well in the past (Graham for us, Toney from League one with Brentford.) Kelman has had a half decent season with Charlton considering he hasn’t played a great deal of minutes.

I’d be surprised if we spent on the top scorer in any league considering we have Idah, we probably just need someone to complement him.
