Is there a suggestion so far MGW not fitting in to the 2 x 10s role without wingers either side of him?
I realise its very early days

We do over rely on him. And for whatever reason I would also be slightly less spooked about losing him in a Glasner side.
But that said, we could be managed by Pep and still struggle if we lost our two best players in a single summer.
MGW carried us last season at times, and it’s far more common you sink like a stone after selling the crown jewels than do a Brentford and somehow manage to finish top 10 anyway.
It was said marinakis wanted more for mgw than Anderson
MGW was pretty poor for quite a time at the start of last season. For three and a bit years his passing has been fantastic, whilst he also looked like he couldn't hit a barn door when shooting. Can't remember when, but part way through last season he suddenly started finishing like Ronaldo. Let's hope he can keep that up.We do over rely on him. Played inarguably his best football ever last season as nominally a winger, without a winger outside him, he should really thrive as one of the 10s behind a strikerIs there a suggestion so far MGW not fitting in to the 2 x 10s role without wingers either side of him?

Quick, gerrim in!Just seen that Reijnders has scored in friendly against the "K league all stars"
People are worried about us
Palace have just signed Takahiro Tomyasu as defensive cover after selling Lacroix. This is Tomyasu who has played around 2000 Premier League minutes... In the last three years. Only 6 last season.
For contrast, Murillo, with all his injury concerns, had more minutes last season than Tomyasu has in the last three
They are also considering 32 year old Solly March from Brighton. If that makes rings a bell, it's because he was awesome in our first season in the PL. But in the three seasons since he has only played about 1000 Premier league minutes
Two of the most injured players in the PL and Palace are targeting them
I like your optimism. As we stand, squad wise, I think 12th is achievable.
I'm optimistic for a good season. We won't be in the relegation mix, when you say a lot lower. How low??I like your optimism.
I'd have us finishing a lot lower with the squad we have at the moment.
We don’t have Europe to worry about but we also don’t have Anderson anymore…I'm optimistic for a good season. We won't be in the relegation mix, when you say a lot lower. How low??
I can be a real glass half empty miserable bastard though.
I think that’s fair based on no signings yetWe don’t have Europe to worry about but we also don’t have Anderson anymore…
You’d have to assume we will bring players in but if the season was starting tomorrow with the squad we currently have plus nobody else… I’d probably have us finishing 16th or 17th to be honest.

You were moaning about 442 putting Forest on 18th earlier today. There's a lot of subtlety in your position. We don’t have Europe to worry about but we also don’t have Anderson anymore…
