2026 Summer Transfer Window Thread

We do over rely on him. And for whatever reason I would also be slightly less spooked about losing him in a Glasner side.

But that said, we could be managed by Pep and still struggle if we lost our two best players in a single summer.

MGW carried us last season at times, and it’s far more common you sink like a stone after selling the crown jewels than do a Brentford and somehow manage to finish top 10 anyway.

I dont want to lose him

Didnt even want to lose Anderson

MGW was pretty poor for quite a time at the start of last season. For three and a bit years his passing has been fantastic, whilst he also looked like he couldn't hit a barn door when shooting. Can't remember when, but part way through last season he suddenly started finishing like Ronaldo. Let's hope he can keep that up.

Mgw gives us multiple issues…

If he’s on the fence about staying this season then players in.. or lack there of won’t be a help…

But should he go late then replacing is all but impossible… not only the goals but work rate and invention

People are worried about us

Palace have just signed Takahiro Tomyasu as defensive cover after selling Lacroix. This is Tomyasu who has played around 2000 Premier League minutes... In the last three years. Only 6 last season.

For contrast, Murillo, with all his injury concerns, had more minutes last season than Tomyasu has in the last three

They are also considering 32 year old Solly March from Brighton. If that makes rings a bell, it's because he was awesome in our first season in the PL. But in the three seasons since he has only played about 1000 Premier league minutes

Two of the most injured players in the PL and Palace are targeting them

I dont know why people are worrying since we might have just found our missing lego brick. Ov course we are all looking at ando leaving, pondering mgw while practically finalise the pre final practical process before actually signing someone. In fact, we have already made our star signing in hiring glasner.

I've followed forest since clough and he would have given his right arm and maranakis' left to manage this level of talant. Kudos to the managers who got us here but glasner's record is a cut above, and he has plenty to work with.

Ok 4th might be overstating things but no reason we cant be optimistic, if not even a wee bit excited. Lots of players with experience now, alongside a manager who has decent track record.

Not keen on the olympiacos support we seem to be doing but otherwise think the big man is spot on investing in the best manager we can attract.

I'm optimistic for a good season. We won't be in the relegation mix, when you say a lot lower. How low??
We don’t have Europe to worry about but we also don’t have Anderson anymore…

You’d have to assume we will bring players in but if the season was starting tomorrow with the squad we currently have plus nobody else… I’d probably have us finishing 16th or 17th to be honest.

I can be a real glass half empty miserable bastard though.

I think that’s fair based on no signings yet

You were moaning about 442 putting Forest on 18th earlier today. There's a lot of subtlety in your position.
