2026/27 Season - Transfers.

We will get a humping courtesy of the scousers next week. Desperately need 4 in at least. Can't defend, no creativity in midfield and couldn't score in a brothel. Top ten finish, yeah of course
 
At the moment its a poor inexperienced squad with a few potential promising youngsters, no goal scorers and a weak defence.
 
Let's announce a new training ground to deflect the fact we've had a worse summer than the previous one (which takes some doing). Absolute laughing stock and shambles of a club.

August 2026, sold all our best players but of course don't worry, Murphy and Willock are around to save us
 
So slow to do worthwhile business . Plenty of youngsters who will probably disappear into the mists of time
 
Transfer agreed apparently between us and Man City for Nico Gonzales. It would be a brilliant signing if it comes to fruition. It seems though to take an eternity to get the medical done and the relevant paperwork when we are involved.
 
We've apparently bid for Matias Fernandez-Pardo from Lille as well and are allegedly in negotiations.

A player I vaguely remember from the world cup but is being chased by AC Milan, Athletico Madrid, Lazio, Roma, Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool, Man Utd and Man City amongst other teams, so he must have something about him. Id be happy with this one then, if only to piss off the Scousers as they don't seem happy that we can steal in and nick one of their targets.
 
Reasonably good window all things considered. The new Belgian kid seems a bit of a gamble. A lot of money splashed on a player who (granted is young) hasnt scored a lot of goals for a forward. Im hoping he fits the system and with woltemade gone it looks like a direct replacement. Apparently we've turned down £15m for Murphy which is absolute madness as he's only a year left.
 
This new Manager does not mess about, Cant expect him to turn it around straight away but a good transfer window , full of promise, plenty of pace now
and will be interesting seeing it develop. Happy with that
 
I was despairing a few weeks ago, as it wasn't looking good. I am now looking forward to the rest of the season, no great expectations and lots of one game a week. Hopefully all bodes well
