2024-25 Fixtures released today

Released at 9am today.

There has been the usual rounds of fake fixture leaks on social media, showing us away at Fulham on the opening day.

We have been away first, last and boxing day for the last three seasons. Home fans haven't seen Forest play on boxing day since 2017. So anything other than the unholy trinity away will be welcome.

Most important for me is the end of the season and that's where I will be looking first; a reasonable run in is really important.

I remember about 10 years ago Norwich were in a relegation battle but just above their rivals, but their last four fixtures were all against the top six and they had no chance. A winnable final game please and a reasonable last few- I would happily take a tough start in exchange for that.

Bournemouth at home first
Spurs home boxing day
Chelsea home last

Our run in
Everton H
Spurs A
Brentford H
Palace A
Leicester H
West Ham A
Chelsea H

Horrible last two but as a run in that's not bad. You want to be clear before West Ham.

It's a nice set of fixtures. No really obvious horrendous runs

We play Man City and Man Utd away consecutive games in early December but most runs with tough teams have winnable games within them

In our last 9 we play Utd, Villa (A), Everton, Spurs (A), Palace (A), WHam (A) and Chelsea.

Best have points on the board way before then this time around because, as things stand, I wouldn't want to be only 2 or 3 points above the drop zone with that run in.
No game is easy in the premier league but you haven’t included Leicester or Brentford at home in those last 9 games. That is not a terrible ending

Is it a conspiracy that we've been handed three homers, after three awayers last season...first/boxing day/last?

I know - because I reckon we can get something from them. That other 6 are likely to wipe out any gains made in those three, hence my opinion that it's tough. Certainly tougher than last year.

3rd game of the season. Forest h to Wolves. Forest near top Wolves bottom. Enter international break top of league. Before going to Anfield who will also be up their with us.

I think it's been kind to us. Think that is a nice start and ending for us
I agree & it’s always nice to start with a home game in fact I always think of it as advantage as it gives a better chance of getting some points on the board. We are at hame final game as well which is always handy if you still need something
There’s a couple of tough runs but this is prem league & you have to
Play the big boys sometime

Sheffield United A
Chelsea H
Burnley A

Certainly no easier

Great fixtures finally. To be honest I’m more happy about three start at home, end at home situ, which has been shit to us last 3 years

It’s now on us to actually take advantage of these fixtures. We need to build on the good away results last season and recover our home mojo…

Young @Will.NFFC is organising a Vital pre-match get together for opening game, meeting at the Stratford at 11, then working our way round to the Larwood and finishing off at the William Gunn.

He'll put a thread up nearer the time but please drop him a PM if you're interested in attending. He's promised the first round is on him (y)
