2021 Summer Transfer Thread

Casado. 21 yrs old. CDM. £25m. One year left on contract. Barca need to sell for ffp reasons. If Anderson stays this will release him to play 8 rather than 6 or twin pivot. This position has been required for two seasons or more.

Sallai though 29 can play RB, RM or RW. Cover for plenty of positions. Help with Squad costs. Wages are low but transfer price is high for 29 yr old. How good is he?

Savona and Netz is better than some are giving credit for. Both are only 20 and have room for development. Same applies to Bindon and Cunha. Only 20.

I like Netz and think Savona is okay, but they’re not 20, they’re 23 and I’d argue that if this year they’re unable to develop into competing for a first team place then get rid. Very few players suddenly become exceptional if there aren’t signs by 23/24.

It’s a myth that players peak at 27/28

Are resolutely fixed on our valuation of £100mill +?

Some red tops are suggesting that there's a clause in the contract that triggers a get out others are saying that's rubbish?

Does anyone really know what is our asking/fixed valuation is?

I am reliably informed that one transfer HAS all but been completed barring any last minute hitches. The contract IS ready to be signed once all T’s have been crossed AND all jots dotted
