It looks like Benfica are looking to offload Krovinovic who will have a year remaining on his contract at the seasons end.

The people at Sports Witness are quoting A Bola as thinking we are in for him, unfortunately the link relates to something else entirely.

He should be right at the top of our wanted list; he has all the qualities required, work rate, aggression, controls the tempo of the game and is a great passer of the ball; get him a forward who can move more than 5 yards and we will see better still from him.

I would pay £2.5m easily at his age and with his ability so long as his wages are ok.

BJ has not been playing in the 10 role for Lincoln; what makes you think he will play that role for us?

I would also expect BJ to be playing more frequently than every other game.

Hughton has been keeping a very keen eye on all of the youngsters out on loan, and some of the ones who have not gone out on loan.

Ordinarily he would be well worth 4m, particularly for a player of his talent and age.

We will not be paying anything like that, not for a player in the last year of his contract, and not in the current financial climate.

I would presume we would get him for about £1m plus add ons which is a great deal from what I have seen of him. If we have to pay a little more though I wouldn’t mind as he is easily better quality than this division. He just needs the right players around him.

Krov is definitely the sort of player we should be getting in, experience of the league, good age, good all round player and seems a decent lad. Hope they don't drag their heels and get business done early.
