2015 - So How Was It For You?

The Fear

A Wise Man (once sat next to him)
So, how was 2015 then folks?

For me, not a bad year. Had some great nights out and adventures with my good buddy Deano and then he produced a Buddy Man

Kasabian in Amsterdam was a great trip.

I also loved the training and I was very nicely gobsmacked at the reaction to my Men's Health thing. Things like that can be very humbling.

Oh and seeing The Prodigy in such a small venue (02 in Brum) was fantastic, I also did a (silly) bucket list thing. Sounds ridiculous but my upper body at times shamed me it was so dis-formed and such a mess (I've got a tidy mind and like everything just right)... Anyway, my tshirt was soaking, we were up the front moshing and I took my top off and had a good old flex... 46 .. ffs, grow up!!!!!!!!!!

I also won £180 in my first ever visit to a casino. Deano and Phil (our other mate) were well chuffed and what made it even better was the level of resentment from others around the table... I just took it in my stride as if it was bound to happen, inside I was doing cartwheels as it paid half of my plane fair home from Egypt for the final.

Then there was the semi final, great time.

The final though.........!

We've had some laughs on here through the year as well

Been a bit of a feck since my Men's Health not to be able to train due to an arm injury but as that is still playing up, I think after the 4th with the physio, we'll be agreeing it is time to re-start and keep treating as I train. I could have done without the break and certainly without the expense of physio not to mention the straps I've had to buy!

Xmas my parents thanked me for making for them, so a good way to end the year I think.

And got to say Buddy Man has been a real highlight, he's a dude and no mistake!

Won't go down as a vintage year, that's for sure.

But have me health, my nearest and dearest and a roof over my head, so could be a lit worse, eg don't love in a war zone, house unlikely to flood Cumbrian style, etc.

Just not a memorable year, so fully plan on 2016 being more exciting and with more achieved! As I said elsewhere, out with the old, in with the new!

Happy New Year Vital peeps :7:

It was a decent year, had 2 great holidays to Rome and Dubai. Me and Ant have been really good, work has been good, progressed well at work (2 years since I qualified now). Looking forward to the new year and what it brings.

Not bad at all. Bought our house and laid the foundations for our future. Apart from that, well, best not mention B6.

A mixed bag for me- the proverbial curate's egg

One step forward and two back at times but fingers crossed for a better 2016 ,have hopes for a new love interest which may or may not bloom.Bit rusty with all that sort of thing....

Not a full bucket list but a number of things i would like to put in place for 2016.Will report back in 366 days time ( leap year next year) with marks out of 10 for each

is that like a boiled egg or....?

I had to look that up!

Something with both good and bad qualities. Origin of curate's egg. From a cartoon published in the British humor magazine Punch in 1895 about a curate who, having been served a bad egg by his bishop, said that parts of it were excellent.

was just thinking they were settling and some new inconsiderate wankers are setting off a truck load.

Never used to be fireworks for New Year... people are like sheep!

Round here there were fireworks left, right and centre between 9 and 10pm. None at midnight then some ignorant fecker has just started setting some off.

2015 was alright! We wont bring Villa into this. OK I just have. However putting Villa aside cos that makes it shite, the other side of life, it's been alright.

Great news re my eldest getting married next year. Love his fiancée to bits. Great news on his new job and a step up the career ladder and there new home.

My 2nd lad health being more stable is good news as they seem to have his med combination right finally. Relatively peaceful sort of year family wise.

Finally getting my weight sorted. I have lost 2 stone and I am continuing with the lifestyle change into 2016. I want to lose at least another 2 stone.

1 or 2 bits we could have done without, however eh that's life! Always a time of reflection for me now.

All in all things to look forward too in 2016.
