But get this awesome quote- "Looking at the video from the store and interviewing some of the witnesses that we've got so far the shooting appears to be accidental"

No s***? You mean the 2 year old didn't do it on purpose? Who is this guy? Chief Wiggum? :19:

I know you're newish still Freeman, but don't insult the Wiggum on here.

It's not done. It's not big and it's not clever.

Even when it possibly might be accurate! :14:

But remember, kids grow up quicker today - it might have been premeditated! :25:

Consider yourself infracted!

I'm off to ask Lou what that means, I have to wait for him to stop talking behind my back first because my claim the shooter may have been a tiny terrorist is being disagreed with.

:17:

Book him Lou, and take away his baby bottle, that'll teach him

So we assume the pistol had no safety catch on it ...
Why do I get the feeling no one in America will be shocked by this it will be just another "accident" unfortunate, avoidable and sad but accidental death all the same.

This little bad boy is not to be messed with ffs, i heard it took 6 police officers to bring him to a halt after a shoot off and car jacking a motor, bad azz

On a more serious note, this part of the article is a huge concern;

"The state of Idaho has one of the highest rates of gun ownership in the US.

Its lawmakers passed a controversial law earlier this year allowing concealed weapons on the state's public college and university campuses."

The problem is most of the High School shootings may/could have been prevented if a few members of the staff were carrying a weapon.
I don't advocate it for students but I imagine more students would be alive today if the staff at those schools who suffered mass killings were allowed them to carry a pistol on their person.

Sad but true, were talking about a country where weapons are freely available from the equivilant of Asda/Tesco with the minimum of documentation.

I feel sorry for the young boy. Too young to understand what he has done. Yet when he gets older he will have to be told he pulled a trigger that killed his Mom. That is going to be 1 messed up little boy.

He hasn't really done anything, as it's not his fault his Mom put the gun their in his reach, however sure as hell he is going to blame himself. He is going to need some careful handling if he is going to grow up adjusted to the world, which I somehow doubt

Joking aside, I feel the same as Kefkat. To think, the lad has got to live the rest of his life knowing he killed his mom, even if it was by accident.

Has he? In his fathers position, I would change my last name and move away to start again, he shouldn't have to carry that burden.

There is no way this lad should ever know what happend other than his mom passed away, i can not imagine the pain and damage of not having a mom from such a young age would bring let alone if he found out somehow he was involved, defo need to shield him from this.
