Anyone on here who voted for Labour and now regrets it ?

Yes Rod they have. This government are now repaying the £4.5 Billion the Tory government took out of the profits made by scheme. All MPS members will be getting £29 per week for life. I sincerely hope the widows of miners that have passed will get the recompense they are entitled to. Well Done to the Labour Party for righting the legalised theft of the miners pension funds. Heads should role. Horrible people they are!! They never paid one penny piece into the scheme but took £4.5 billion out.

I voted Labour and being working class always have. To me, just like football it,s a tribal thing. We hate the snorters and they hate us, all part of the old DNA in our genetics and I could never switch sides or ever change my beliefs which I would defend to the bitter end. All political parties drop huge bollox and at times appoint leaders who are nothing but paid oxygen thieves but Labour is my tribe so that is where my loyalty lies thru thick and thin, same with being a lifelong biased Blade!
My old man, a WW11 wounded in North Africa veteran told me as a youth not long before he kippered, "If tha wants a steady life son with not too much hassle, remember three things, Never join the army, Never get married and allus vote Labour". Well I suppose one outa three have stood me in good stead up to now!

But you forget the 5 years it took to turn around the last Labour mess and 2 years of covid and 3 years of world inflation due to the war in the Ukraine. And don't forget the referendum made hard by those who would not comply. Easy being in government some say.
 
Both parties are a bag of shite in my old fashioned opinion. Bring back capital punishment for murderers, kiddy fiddlers and the drug barons, blast the soap dodging boats out of the water for the ultimate deterrant, empty the nicks of immigrants and Muslims who don,t abide by our laws and deport rhem in wire mesh boats and allow the armed forces to carry out what they are trained to do, kill the enemy without interference from woke snowflake lawyers, blow up mosques to prevent hatred being preached to the twats who refer to us as Infidels. Bit extreme you may think in the so called modern world.but to me, just plain common sense to make this now totally f..ked country safe and views from someone who served at a time when a serving soldier reported to the MO to explain that he,d started fancying the bloke in the next bed space would be marched at the double to the guardroom for a good twatting then locked up in the glass house for 6 months before being f..ked off! and good riddance

I've said numerous times i wunt trust many/any politicians has far as i could sling em,it's the ten bob brigade on here that never blame the tory tossers for owt,even when they've had 14 years in charge, any mistakes(and they med MANY mistakes) they med were all Labours fault,hilarious really.UTB

There's still a possibility veterans may turn heir backs on Starmer at the Cenotaph. Their valid grievances are many, his desire to repeal laws protecting ex serviceman from prosecution is particularly reprehensible.

Yesterday Starmer pledged a pitiful £3.5m to tackling homelessness for veterans. To put that in context we spend over £7m a day to house 'asylum seekers'.
