Another example of shoddy, lazy, woefully inaccurate journalism. Why bother in the first place, if you clearly haven't a clue?
Left-footed centre half Scott Wharton at right back.
Left-footed centre half Adam Crookes on the right side of central defence.
Right-footed centre half James Wilson on the left side of central defence.
Centre half/central midfielder Michael Bostwick apparently on the right wing.
Classic No.10/right-footed Shay McCartan on the left wing.
Right back/right-footed Neal Eardley on the left side of central midfield.
Other than that, pretty accurate.
At least they restricted the number of spelling mistakes to one.

I think it's probably just to do with grouping defenders, midfielders or strikers together rather than saying X was the best left winger this weekend.
