Lets pack out Villa park, what a way to start the season v Wigan than to have a 40000 crowd telling the Chinese loony exactly what we think of him and his so called running oft he club,
then get behind the team irrespective of who plays and who doesn't its our time to get behind Team and show this Sham owner that we will support our club once again through times that look thin and challenging, lets force the club to open the upper Trinity road and give OUR team/club an amazing backing
 
Somehow I just can’t see many people getting excited over Wigan for the first home game of the season, I’m not even remotely excited myself I’m sorry to say.
 
Guess my feeling will change a day or 2 before the first home game but right now not even remotely excited ??‍♂️ Can’t wait for the pre match hot dog more than anything
 
Looking forward to the first home game, hope the manager can turn this around and get some good free transfers in & loans. It would be great to see our under 23s bought in gradually and make an impact.

How long before the atmosphere turns acid again, team being booed off Breaking the confidence of the kids. I cry after the comparative unity of last season. We all need to turn on the people being negative even if At all possible but I doubt we will be in the majority
 
I can’t see the crowd remaining positive if the players are just not good enough, I have a feeling reality may kick in very soon.

I can see some really bad performances if the rest of the “ spine “ of the team are sold.

This is my feeling aswell. Despite the calls for fan unity whatever happens I guarantee that after a few losses there will be carnage. Look at the start of last season and the mass hysteria, and that was with what now looks like an embarrassment of riches in terms of players. With all that's gone on this summer the mass hysteria will be magnified ten fold. There will be no grace for the youngsters either , not with done fans mentality.

It's pure fantasy to think that we can go with a team of youngsters and be successful in the marathon that is 46 game championship season. Forget it. A sprinkling of youngster is fine and I have nothing against the young lads but this season will be a disaster if we think we can rely on them and be anything but relegation fodder. Its AVFC chaps, we don't do fantasy football or get lucky. We couldn't even get promoted with what we had last season.

On the bench I'd just stick whatever experienced players we might have left that aren't mccormack and fill the rest with the best of the youngsters. RHM, Clark and Doyle-Hayes have to be on it if fit. I'd also give tshibola a go but that's not happening.
