Derbys v Yorks (20 overs) 1430 start [at Chesterfield]

Weather looks a bit dodgy. Derbys won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Yorkshire 175 all out (20 overs). Brook was top scorer with 77 and the Yorkshire innings collapsed once he was out. Not ideal batting conditions, and the Yorkshire tail-enders couldn't time their shots very well (again). Three wickets each for Watt and Scrimshaw.

Update - Rain delay (Derbys 5-0)

Derbyshire 105-4 off 9.4 overs (du Plooy 48 n.o.) . Another game thrown away by Yorkshire. Derbys needed 19 runs off the last over, which was a poor one from Waite, and included a wide, and a fielding mistake by Fraine that resulted in a boundary. Bess was injured earlier whilst taking a spectacular catch, so wouldn't have been able to bowl the last over anyway. Leech was the best Yorkshire bowler with 3-13, but had completed his allocation by then. Defeat snatched from the jaws of victory... again.

Derbyshire won by 6 wickets (Duckworth-Lewis calculation)

Injury to Bess (jarred knee) is not as bad as first thought.

I suppose it's the only fair way to do things - they can't even have the 'golden wicket' or is called the 'super over' (?) in the rain can they.
