5 dead now... Sounds like a war zone, when will they learn that unrestricted access to guns only leads to more violence?
 
Is this a reaction to the 2 blokes that were killed by police in separate incidents this week.

If so it's not surprising .
 
I would say this is shocking, except it's not really.

I have to agree sirdennis, what do they expect? Guns pretty much freely available, fairly frequent shooting of black people by white police officers....it was almost inevitable.

It just feels like a matter of time before anarchy starts to break out. Racism is alive and well the world over, and is pushing its way to the forefront over here as well.

Sad, depressing and very worrying times.
 
Even if the US outlawed automatic weapons, how would you remove them? There would be chaos as armed militia and crackpots defended their right to keep weapons. The genie is well and truly out of the bottle.

All very sad and unnecessary. Too much hatred and I'm afraid a rise of the right wing.
 
They put a really heavy police presence out in NYC yesterday. The atmosphere always changes after this type of stuff its a little uneasy actually.

Personally dont fully agree with the access to firearms. As a non-american I agree with the notion that it is a mental health issue disguised as a gun issue but obviously guns fuel the problem. I mean I can go to Austin rent some guns at a firing range without an id.
 
It is just not in our culture to own guns. I don’t feel that I would be safer if I did. I just don't understand a gun ownership mentality.
