    Ups and Downs

I actually like Wrexham (controversial I know) and will be interested to see how they get on next season. I suspect they'll be a mid-table side for the next few years - it's a much bigger step up from L2 to L1 than it is from NL to L2, even with lots of money to throw at it. Stockport were...

    Ups and Downs

Stockport, Wrexham and Mansfield is a pretty formidable three coming up from League Two.

As others have said, I think we've just run out of steam in the last few weeks. Ultimately this may be a blessing - it's unlikely we'd have won the play-offs and even less likely we'd have stayed up next season. This should give us a longer summer break and another year to consolidate and build...

    Ups and Downs

Rotherham relegated back to League One, their seventh consecutive relegation/promotion. I suspect they might stick around for a bit longer this time now they don't have Paul Warne to get them back up.

Lincoln United FA Vase semi final

Big missed opportunity playing over 45 minutes against ten men. I hope they can finish the job next week.

Can't believe we won that. I couldn't see where a goal was coming from for us and if anything I thought they might nick one. Almost a perfect away performance from Orient but one mistake and a brilliant finish from Makama made the difference. All three of our rivals dropping points was the icing...

    Player of the season.

Agreed. I think goalkeepers usually have to make some saves to get above 6 whereas defenders will usually get 7+ just for keeping a clean sheet, even if they've had nothing to do. On the other hand, a striker, midfielder or winger is probably more likely to get a 5 if they have a "quiet game"...

    Player of the season.

Close between Erhahon and Sorensen. I think Lasse will win the popular vote as his lung-busting runs up the wing are a lot more exciting and noticeable than Erhahon's quiet assuredness in the centre of the park.

Yes I'm glad you mentioned the lad on tannoy, he was fantastic! Wouldn't be surprised if they get him back at some point. Who did get man of the match?

I mean, we were very open at the back today and but for Jensen's excellence (and the awful penalty) we could have conceded 2 or 3.

Can we make the play offs?

In the space of three games I've gone from "well we're probably not going to make the play-offs but let's enjoy the ride" to "we've got a chance y'know" to "I'll be disappointed if we don't." Hopefully the international break and Erhahon's suspension won't derail our momentum.

Just incredible. This has got to be the best football we've ever played. Silly from Erhahon though. He'll be a big miss against Orient.

Can we make the play offs?

They do have a very nice run-in but momentum is key at this stage and they've only won 4 of their last 11. They also go to Derby on Good Friday which is tougher than any of our remaining games.

Disagree about Reeco - I think he's been outstanding, Cambridge full back is terrified of him.

Match Thread: Lincoln City v Shrewsbury Town

That's the most fun you can have in Lincoln on a Tuesday night! Best performance of the season, we should have scored 5 with House and Hackett's gilt-edged chances and could have had even more. Shrewsbury were dreadful, but we made them look so. Hard to pick a man of the match - Bishop was...

Match Thread: Port Vale v Lincoln City

If we'd had literally any strikers for the first half of the season we'd be right in the play-off picture. Unlikely to happen now but the best we can do is keep winning and give ourselves a platform to build on for next season.

Morgan Rogers gone to Villa. He and Brennan Johnson could be competing to play in the Champions League next season. Mad that we had them both at the same time.

I enjoyed that! It's just nice to have an actual forward line. I thought Taylor was brilliant, should have had a goal or two but that will come, what's more important is that he can beat his man which we haven't had in a while. The makings of a nice partnership between him and Draper. Nice to...
