It’s why the whole system is unworkable. Whether the penalty is financial or points, there should always be laid down criteria for both the deduction/fine and any mitigation.

Yes it will be very interesting to see what happens if/when our time comes. Everton wanted a one point penalty allocated to next season. This apparently forms a part of their appeal but effectively misses the point of the appeal. Maybe the outcome will be to give them a choice of two points...
