    Pre-Season Schedule and Results

Superb unbiased analysis of the game there, I'm sure Rising, Buzz and Bluedub are hanging on your every written word :toot:

    The 2018 World Cup

Maybe I will, maybe you wake up to the truth (for once) Please remind me what part of my post that you insisted I grow up to was incorrect?

I have seen several references to it post CL final too (selective reading again from Mr Dub I see?) I'm not interested what other forums are saying. I would suggest after trouncing our (probably) main rivals for the league (again) yesterday, yes it probably is

It's ok Coco, this is obviously a site where they just sit in there own little bubble praising and worshipping the shiekhs money. It's certainly not the humorous forum that was described to me (mind you, it doesn't help their sense of humour when my team always beats theirs) If you say anything...

The City and Liverpool disease makes its way down the league

I don't know what the first paragraph is supposed to mean. 2nd = based on attendance income it was more than sustainable as was proven. 3rd no debt? of course not

    The 2018 World Cup

Apart from going to sleep against Croatia, suspect temperament when wound up and his nasty little kick on one of the Colombians head, yes agreed he was faultless

I was invited Rising, I do not despise your club in fact it appears to be the other way around with after your defeat to the Reds in the CL and subsequent "dipper" comments (all in the line of banter I'm assured:bs:) I would suggest to you that the antagonistic replies I get have more to do...

The City and Liverpool disease makes its way down the league

The whole post was not classed as bullshit, just the bracketed bit Bluedub. Getting the most successful coach and giving him bottomless amount of money is a plan, true, but does not equal hard work. The Ian St John quote is true, but as I said paid for by the fans (by way of attendance and...

The City and Liverpool disease makes its way down the league

In my opinion it's when Sky took over the running of the league that it all went pear shaped. As Bluedub has mentioned there has always been haves and have nots, but that used to be governed by footfall through the gates, the bigger the gate the higher the wages and higher transfer fees paid...

    Football programs

Agreed, it was compulsory and clubs from lower league (and non league) could cost the club money, it would be a gamble how many to print, too few and the supporters complain, too many and it's a waste of club money. Fortunately for big clubs in the Prem it's not an issue any more, a mere drop in...

    The 2018 World Cup

To be fair, Stones and Delph didn't have too many starts for City last season, Walker was played out of position for England and Sterling didn't have many chances to tap in from 2 yards out at the world cup. So no real surprises that they under performed.

    The 2018 World Cup

To be fair to City though, Delph did a magnificent job in being at the birth of his kiddy :-)

    The 2018 World Cup

Yeah, we could have been in the final if Sterling could score goals and Stones and Walker weren't dozing for the Croatia goals

It was before my time (I'm 56) but Highway 61 revisited by Robert Zimmerman is the greatest album I have ever heard

    How safe do you feel?

There are parts of Liverpool (Norris Green and Lodge Lane) that can be a bit dodgy if you're not streetwise, but I would have said it's generally safer for gun and knife crime than Manchester

    Football programs

I used to but them in the 70's when the team line ups were accurate, now they name the team from a squad of 20-25 as the teams are not announced until about an hour before kickoff. I think now it's just another way for clubs to rip you off
