Automatic promotion form since January 14th

Over to Hess, Kenny and Brad’s pocket indeed. Isn’t that the point? There was an initial input to reverse the downward spiral and now objective 1 is achieved, they will be looking at what is needed next to turboboost the upward one.

Automatic promotion form since January 14th

Proven track record is the best indicator we have rather than speculation about future unknowns though. And given likely further investment in players, and the success of those who have been added to the squad, things can only get better imo! I mean, it’s unbelievable how some posters have still...

Automatic promotion form since January 14th

Since January 14th when the investment boosted turnaround in form began with the introduction of new players, we have gained 38 points in 21 matches, @ 1.81 points per game. Compared to the points per game over the whole season to date of other teams, only the two currently top teams have...

The best signing in years in my book.

Do we really believe players are signing out of goodwill and loyalty towards the Gills? Surely these signings are to do with much more competitive salaries than before luring the better players in due to the new injection of finances.

    Today’s team talk

What is the last thing you say to the players in today’s team talk before they take to the pitch against Rotherham?

    Would you take a draw?

Of course what the season long stats do not factor in is performances only under NH. One positive stat is that Rotherham are below mid table based on points from the last 8 games only (10 to our 7). We have 3 points at home from these (crucially not having lost) and 4 away (but 5 were away...

    Would you take a draw?

Tx. I get it in soccer stats

    Would you take a draw?

Yes because Fleetwood’s away record is even worse (albeit very marginally) than our home record (which is the worst in the league)! Years ago home and away stats were differentiated in league tables. These days it is almost impossible to find tables that don’t merge the two. We need to be...

:wagging: Thankfully we could still stay up with only a draw and quite likely will with a win.

I’m going to take the positives from today - Morecambe losing and Fleet held to a draw. We may only need a draw now to stay up. Also a win, albeit perhaps unlikely, would significantly increase our chances.

Such a shame, since the big improvement under NH that had begun a turn around was the tightening up defensively.

Joyous to log into the thread at just the right time, having seen the earlier score line

Given the position we would have been in had we lost, I’m actually quite pleased with that result.
