    Our NHS (n/G)

I'll let OSK comment about Aus. We get loads of UK nurses and doctors in NZ. Why do they come here? Climate, lifestyle and working conditions. They don't all stay for life. Some can't handle the transition (it can be tough) and being away from family and friends and return to the UK after a...

I think the remnants of the 'original ' Britons are the Welsh. The rest of us are a hodge podge mix of Europeans Asians and Africans. In reality we are all black Africans

Interesting News Around the Football League

Don't give a flying one about Evans. Never wanted him at Gills. Never liked the Neanderthal football we played under him and found his histrionics on the sidelines embarrassing.

    Our NHS (n/G)

The private sector only want the easy operations on easy patients. What they dont want is anything risky or tricky. Anything goes wrong in the private sector and the NHS picks up the crap. Also when you get treated under the NHS , the chances are you'll get an SHO who is doing five or six of...

most talented player i've watched in person - def n/g

Glen Hoddle was amazing. When I lived in Essex I'd occasionally pop down to white heart lane Hoddle, Ardiles and Steve Perryman were unbelievably good. I could never understand why Ricky Villa got relatively litte game time. I bumped into Hoddle a couple times in Harlow. He's a nice guy. By that...

    Our NHS (n/G)

In order to fix something, it has to be broken first. The Tories have made sure they have broken the NHS in order to privitise large profitable chunks of it. That's not to say the old NHS was perfect. Junior Doctors hours were horrific and dangerous when my wife worked in the NHS.

    Happy 80th Brian Yeo

The great Alan Wilkes would tee them up and Yeo would pop them into the back of the net. Very happy memories

    Clemence's latest comments

I think he's spot on and I've been saying the same thing all season re a coach/ manager needs time to build a squad. I also think the managerial change knocked the players for six and they've not really recovered. I would like to think,( just like every fan of every club in the land) that a...

I think you made the last bit up. I've no recollection whatsoever of any fans flocking outside the main stand chanting. I walked home past the main stand after every home game to my mates house and only remember hearing some grumbling as everyone shot off home as quickly as possible. In the...

What's to call out? Despite their best efforts the team have missed out on the playoffs. For whatever reason things haven't gone to plan but we still look like finishing above our position last year. The owners and manager in particular, have every right to criticise when they think standards...

The Mike Flanagan era has to be the worst football I've ever watched. The current era might not be very exciting but It's a million miles away from the sheer ineptitude of Flanagans team. The fans didn't boo the team then and I find it depressing that fans feel the need to boo the team now...
