Derby County (h): Nominate Your Man of The Match HERE!

I will kick it off. I thought several players had excellent games including Hamilton,Draper and Mitchell. But for me i thought Jackson was immense won everything and must have made half a dozen vital blocks in first half in particular. Also proving to be an excellent leader.

Nortampton Town (h) nominate your Man Of Match

I will start this with Eyoma. I thought he defended well all game and his distribution from defence all night was excellent. Plus showed great enthusiasm all game. And a great header for his goal.

    Skubala and the transfer window.

Interest comments made by Skubala after Derby Match. Saying it was obvious that you could see how much we struggled with just young inexperienced Jovon up front. But more interestly he said it was obvious we needed goals but that was up to the Club the Board and Jez(George) to sort out. That...

    Football becoming boring

After watching the Leicester Leeds match last night I thought I would start this thread and see what others opinions are. Obviously, I am not one of the younger generation who may have a totally different view on things. I was quite looking forward to the match as I thought it might be an...

Should Kendall and/or Draper be recalled in January?

I thought I would start this new thread as the loan watch thread seems to have been hijacked to discuss this subject only . If we can discuss it on here perhaps we can leave the loan watch thread for just that as we have more than Kendal and Draper on loan at the moment.

    Frustrating to say the least.

I normally sit in row H in the section 4 GMB stand. Because I took my grandson with me to the West Ham match we ended up in row D. This is were the frustrations began for me. There may be some on the forum who are affected by this or some I think may be a cause of this frustration. Might be...

    Sky soccer saturday. Simon Thomas

I stopped my subscription to sky sports before the start of the season due to the imbalance of money being given to the premier league to squander whilst a pittance went to the likes of my club the Imps. However I can still get soccer Saturday on the sky news channel. I thought Jeff Stelling...

Who would you play in central defence now Montsma hopefully available

Big call for MK. Presuming Montsma fit. We have Poole, Eyoma, Jackson, O'connor, Walsh , Roughan and Montsma to choose from. Suspect you can take Poole and Roughan out of the equation as they will, almost certainly, play full back if selected. Walsh also in and out due to injury. So depends if...

Has our recruitement been good enough?

This is being discussed mainly on transfer rumours thread. So to leave that thread for rumours/actual transfer news only I thought I would start this thread. To discuss current and previous recruitement by the club.

    Fans forum

Fans forum on Thursday 10th at the Shoulder of Mutton in Ruskington. Hope to be there. Depending on how we play on Tuesday could be a rough ride for MK, Jez and Liam. If I can get there I will try and summarise it for us all.

    Lincoln city half marathon.

Good morning all The Lincoln City Foundation as organised an half marathon through Lincoln on 18th September this is to raise funds to help male mental health in lincolnshire. If you log onto it online you will get more info on it. This is a great cause that the club is supporting and I urge...

    Sanders?

One player will never be the answer to our midfield problems. But Saunders appears to be our invisible man. When he came on against Hartlepool he did inject some urgency and effort into proceedings. But yet again overlooked against Crewe. Surely the ideal plaiyer to come on for Bridcutt, but no...

Time to put it to bed

I have been extremely vocal about that cheat Busby as much as anyone on this forum. However, I think it's time to move on. The majority of teams are already on the beach with a one or two meaningless games left to play. Our exciting season is about to get more exciting and interesting. Will...

    Substitutes

Up until Appleton taking over I cannot remember the last time the Imps did not use all three sub's in a competive match. I certainly think Danny always did, unless on the occasions were we couldnt name a full bench and had some of the Academy players on there, I am sure some of the statisticians...

    Michael Appleton early observations.

Early days yet but worth reflecting on some of the ways that Appleton has already had an affect on the Imps. I along with quite a few went along on Sat hoping for a point at least to get us back on track, but fearing the worst. Plus there had been a lot of speculation about wholesale changes in...

Cynical yes. But time to move on

I have been awake half the night thinking about this , as this is a crucial time for my beloved Imps. This is football successfull Managers move all the time to supposedly bigger and better clubs, for substantial pay rises as well. We have had three fantastic, amazing years under the Cowley's...
