Why not? It makes sense to me, if the GOP votes against it they would show how they really feel about gun control when it comes to anyone other than Hunter Biden. At this point I'd take anything for stricter gun laws to save my kids. This is not ok...

I really hope the democrats will use this to push for universal background checks and stricter regulations for buying guns.

Had a contractor come over for a quote for our kitchen, hallway and baths remodel, he is booked through the end of the year but we are willing to wait. Now on to picking everything out. It will almost feel like a whole new house when we are done.

Made it through the storm and never lost power. We do have neighbors who did have quite a bit of flooding.

Thank you. She is much better. My mom is a snowbird and has a house in Ft Myers and was hit with Ian last fall, as was Charleston. Here’s a webcam from Folly Beach, SC (my home beach). https://www.tidesfollybeach.com/surf-cam/

Roads are flooded, we just had a tornado down the street from us and we still have about 3 hrs before the king tide, 4-8 inches of rain and the hurricane hit. King tides flood Charleston without any rain. Going to be an interesting night…fingers crossed we don’t lose power.

One of the twins was in the ER last night until 2:30 and now we have a hurricane coming with Super Blue moon astronomical tides. That's more than enough excitement for me for now.

And you use it in almost every single post you make. I stated a fact that Trump has been arrested 4 times in the last month. I also stated it is sad that adults make fun of another adult for having a stutter. I don’t think that is “what about” behavior. They are two different facts. I was not...

I agree with you. Biden has done a pretty good job turning around what he was given. Sad that people want to discredit all he's done because of a stutter he's had his whole life. I mean he hasn't been under arrest FOUR times recently unlike someone else. I will not engage with anyone who says...

I know right? I still can't believe they are ten and now in their last year of elementary school. It hit me when we went back to their Kindergarten classrooms to see their teachers and I saw how small the tables and chairs were, they seemed so big six years ago and now they wouldn't fit in them.

If you want to pick and choose what you want your children to learn you better homeschool them. All of this bullshite of parents not wanting their kids to be taught evolution and the ugly truth about the history of the US is complete nonsense.
