    Transfers - Summer 2025

How's that been working out? It's all well & good having an array of players who can play multiple roles but the reality of the situation is you no longer have any specialist players at your disposal. I understand, to a degree the need for such players, currently however Ange & the club have...

👨🏼‍💼 Ange Postecoglou - Manager Thread

To sack him in our current predicament would not only be grossly unfair but extremely foolish as well. Come the summer i'm not convinced he'll still be in charge. I do hope he proves us wrong but he's backed himself into a corner now, one i believe he won't be able to rescue himself from.

👨🏼‍💼 Ange Postecoglou - Manager Thread

Well by my reckoning Ange is well suited to the club in that we've both won no major honours worth speaking of.

The Absolute Stupidity Of Bringing Back Pochettino

In fairness to the ownership, they listened. The club, the fans & the players all want Ange to succeed, problem is it clearly isn't working. Given time things will improve but i remain on the whole extremely skeptical that we can win silverware playing in this fashion.

Ange. It's well known Poch is very vocal about his players.

The Absolute Stupidity Of Bringing Back Pochettino

I thought Lange had the last word on recruitment. Obviously Ange has involvement but is it really his way or the highway as many would lead us to believe?

    Transfers - Summer 2025

Gray's a competent young player. I don't view him as a utility man & i hope the club don't either. I'd like to see him play in his natural position. We already have but i'm talking on a permanent basis.

The Absolute Stupidity Of Bringing Back Pochettino

I dunno why so many are opposed to such a move, it may well happen some day. Whether or not he'd want it now is open for debate. I'd actually view his return as a coup. He'd certainly whip this young group into shape & trim the squad to suit his needs. By the looks of things Ange is going to...

The Absolute Stupidity Of Bringing Back Pochettino

He still had the odd slip up. I mean i still haven't gotten over the shock of seeing Son at wing back.

To fire him in this manner & at this time would be grossly unfair. That being said he needs to up the ante cos results & performances haven't been great.

👨🏼‍💼 Ange Postecoglou - Manager Thread

We are altogether far too naive or should i say honest as a team, in the main due to them being so young. This will change as they become more street wise. Nothing wrong with Ange's approach cos it's clearly worked in other leagues. The PL is an entirely different beast altogether though, as he...

As you've stated yourself, at times it's felt like we haven't even had a midfield. It's been a factor in our play for far too long.

👨🏼‍💼 Ange Postecoglou - Manager Thread

It may well happen. I was never truly convinced he could bring success to the club playing this way, i was convinced however that we would remain competitive with his attacking brand of football. Key injuries over a sustained period has certainly put pay to that idea. If he requires a full...

He needs to up his game then. He's not had the best of luck this year tbf but he's still greatly underperforming.
