Almost as if they were listening to you. ;)

It was. He was the same at Fylde. ...... not afraid to take on a player.

    Summer transfers rumours, speculation, news

Certainly width-wise he was ...... not so sure about height-wise ........ though I was admittedly sat further away than usual. :hmmm:;)

    Sicknote!

So ..... like I said, he was happy with him.

Darikwa? .... who played most of last season? He made one mistake (as did all of the defence, indeed, most of the players on the field) which unfortunately got punished. He did plenty of good stuff too, which of course gets ignored. His replacement was a trialist.

    Sicknote!

    Cos he said so.

    Sicknote!

Leam Richardson was happy with him and what he did, so I suppose that's the main thing.

John Willie's ...... another fine brew (in the right hostelry).

    Stadium is looking shabby

I don't remember it being so specifically "orangey" (as mentioned in some of the reviews) but even so, it was lovely. https://hoppyboston.com/2017/06/26/wachusett-wally/ https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/20/264968/

Yep, agreed. When we were in Boston, a couple of years ago, I had one of the best pints I've ever had - Wachusett Wally. Absolutely gorgeous. NB: Actually, I had a few of 'em !

Using the pdf version of the ticket on your phone shouldn't be a problem ....... as per this extract from the latest note from the official site: E-Tickets can be used on your mobile devices to gain entry into the stadium.

    Summer transfers rumours, speculation, news

Yeah he got forward quite well ......he had Lang in front of him though, and Humphreys had replaced Wyke, so crosses into the box didn't seem to be the main aim ........ rather, they tried to play someone in behind the line.

    Summer transfers rumours, speculation, news

Promotion would be brilliant ..... and I reckon Robinson could play his part in helping us do that. Who's to say that Lloyd wouldn't be a decent replacement too. I'm certainly not going to disregard him after seeing him for less than a half.

    Summer transfers rumours, speculation, news

Kieran Lloyd came on for Darikwa at Fylde, and just like Robinson last season, he didn't look out of place.

Mine says the same ..... but I'm sure that last time we were in the stadium, we were just holding tickets up to a scanner, not putting it in a slot. I must admit, I'm not certain, so I'll probably print it off just to be certain, but it's a poor show if they end an e-ticket that can't be used...

It's not a slot any more ...just a scanner. Just scan the pdf from the email. Did that at Accy no problem.

The Higsons near us was the Lord Nelson in Croston. Lovely pint.

    Sicknote!

Maybe the low number is so as to allow the trigger to be initiated before the January window, when (if he'd been playing well) might have invited bids. The club must have had a reason for it being comparatively low (if there was indeed an appearance number ....... I think there was but I may...

    Sicknote!

The point of appearances also means that if we, the club, see enough to want to keep him (who can foresee long term injuries?), and prevent him leaving - or at least put a price on his head, then we're able to do so.

Very valid points re both Tetleys and Boddies there Zeb. Personally, I like the extra hopped, but I know what you mean. Couple of additional decent local(ish) ales ... Walkers (Warrington) and Higsons (Liverpool).
