The NUFC Takeover Thread Saga - Qatar Influenced Premier League Protecting It's Investments..

There will be tonnes and tonnes of paperwork, especially with dodgy saudies. There will be delays for all sorts of things. I don't deny there is probably a lot of incompetence involved though. I just really think there's a lot of work involved. As much as I would have liked it to be concluded...

Different section of the PL focused on the takeover. They are pushing to have it completed by 1st of August.

The saudis need to show they take piracy seriously which is the hold up as they need to take down a lot of pirate sites which is taking time.

    Sheff U game

We played well for us in this game. The team has done well this season considering all the changes. I think we are all just more waiting for this never ending takeover saga to end, especially since we are pretty much safe now which was the main thing at the start of the season. Not necessarily...

    Soooooooo

I think you will find they do. A lot of it is just PR as in they have to say these things or else they will get ripped themselves. The rest is just banter. To be fair they don't seem to be the most inclusive or role models. I will still be supporting though as I have no morals.

    Hypocrisy

Not real fans if you are feeling apathy. When's the next protesting statement or letter to Ashley due out?

    The horse w anchor

1stly grow up and secondly, it's not as easy as you think. Other owners came in with clubs who were in a better financial state which made competition more difficult. Injuries and buying duff players haven't helped. Let's see the quality of the team when / if Maximin, Carroll and Ritchie return...

    The horse w anchor

The club has recently been spending big now the money is coming in. Shepherds daft spending and Ashley's relegation costs nearly paid off. Almiron, Joelinton, Maximin who's next in January? Can't wait for Maximin to be fully fit with Carroll as well. Think we'll be ok with Bruce.

    NUFC v Arsenal

Arsenal weren't that good because we played ok, not brilliant, but ok. Joelinton showed quality. Maximin showed flair when he came on. We'll improve when the players have a bit more time to gell.

    Summer transfers

Joelinton - Young, powerful, tall, stong, good finisher. Starting the season at full fitness compared to Rondon who took ages to get to full fitness. Maximin - quick and skillfull player. Longstaff - ready to start the season, quality player who Ashley could have easily sold. Schar - Quality...

Andy Carroll - This saga just wont go away.

Would have preferred better, but it's ok for now. Maybe in January we can get another quality striker.

Contradicting reports, but French media (Courrier Picard) stating Emil Krafth is on his way to Newcastle.

    Next Newcastle manager

Depends which managers you are on about. We've had some shockers. Benitez did well under the circumstances. Picking a good manager over a bad one could be the difference in staying up or not. I think we'd be ok under Bruce with a few good buys in the transfer market.
