True but given we were relying on the managerial capabilities of Tactics Tim and Remi Garde to get the best out of those players…..I think we can at least have more confidence in the current boss to mould this lot into shape, even if it might need a bit of patience!

Tbf I think most football fans would like to ‘advise’ Andy Madley that he’s not a very good referee in the hope he would withdraw from referring matches full stop! Typically erratic performance today for both sides. He’s bloody awful.

If Maatsen is now possibly out for months I presume we can replace him by adding another player in the CL squad? Sure I read a rule somewhere about being able to replace injured players who are out long term.
