Chelsea v Aston Villa Match Thread - 11/9 - 5.30pm

Alan Smith is a **** as well, supposed to be a Villa fan, you'd never know it.

Is he? I’ve played at alvechurch a few times where there’s a shrine to him if I remember correctly, is he a Villa fan? I’ve seen it mentioned but is it a fact?

Not to mix the threads here but I have been ranting  today in the owners thread about quality to get in the top 4 or 5 .

This game has said it for me tbh in what Lukaku has done .

We are where we are but this is what’s needed I’m afraid . No idea if it’s wanted and/or achievable.

Most of his mistakes revolve around going in slow motion such that he appears to be thinking "you can't take the ball off me cos I'm Tyrone mings", he just seems to switch off completely at times and it's really regular.

I'm not hating on him but there's a real and consistent issue there.

If he was a few inches shorter he'd never be in the PL.
He is not a natural footballer. Often off balance with the ball. That's why he lost control and stabbed the backpack

The 3rd tainted what was a good game. Never a 3 nil game.

Referee a total f*** bottle job. If you can't be impartial, then do one you spineless knob.

We will beat many teams if we play like that.

I thought that was tactically very good... which doesn't bode well for Bert, Bailey and Buendia.
