well until we sign another striker (Abraham hopefully) he's a part of the squad

and his hold up play and physicality are why he is kept in the squad as he is a useful option off the bench and whilst maybe not scoring can create some mayhem that helps others. Useful player and option in that respect off the bench as proven last season

Davis has done his job for us backing up Ollie last season and a few cameo’s. He’s not shit, but he’s definitely not at the level we require - sell or loan.

Wesley appears to be a problem. Need to see a bit more as they all say it takes time to get over a serious knee injury and he didn’t have Super EMI 2 supplying him.

It would be interesting to see. I always remember back to that Everton game at Villa Park where Jota must have played him through 2 or 3 times with some great balls, one of which he scored from.

theres a player in there. My concern now is that knee will be susceptible to injury more easily and he won't ever be fit long enough at this level

I’d loan both Davis and Wesley out. To be fair to Davis he does work hard and makes a nuisance of himself, needs to develop that goal scoring instinct which he can only get from game time. Wesley has had a horror injury but I don’t think anyone was convinced by him before the injury anyway and it couldn’t have made him better
