Chris Eubanks son Sebastian . Boxer who won a couple of pro fights and only 29 . Drowned near his home in Dubai.

Just read this on the BBC. His whole life ahead of him. His youngest born just a month ago. So sad. RIP and my sincere condolences to all his family.

He was a member of the famous Ipswich side that we're the greatest ever team except they finished second to the Mighty Aston Villa .
Mariner was the main reason Peter Withe never go more England caps

Only just seen this about George Curtis.

I was aged 14 and I remember on boxing day 1969 going with the Villa travelers club coach to see George make his debut for the Villa against Swindon Town.

He was as tough as they come and helped us win the 3rd division title in the 71-72 season.

What a leader he was, a true stalwart of a centre half.

As we used to sing up the Holte End..... E for B and George Curtis...... (if anyone remembers the advert off the tv from those days.

Jackie Mason aged 93. He was a Jewish American stand up comedian and one of a very small number of American comedians I found funny. RIP Jackie, thanks for laughs.
