Good or not so good signing ? Been a hell of a player, but at 34 ?
Good booze mate for Jerry though.

My Huddersfield mate wasn’t overly complimentary on his performances. Apparently he was offered a mentoring role there which he turned down.

But, I’ll reserve judgement - an older head is sometimes a good thing, especially in defence.

I think it's exactly what we need.
Looking at the back CH's Icelandic lad, Marv, Casey all very inexperienced / young.
Need a solid head we will face some rough, soild forwards now at this level.
Look at Fulham's Mittovic as an example.

I agree, its to be hoped that the energy we have in other departments will balance it all out. I've always seen him as a stand out performer. He should fit in well, I like him, Welcome Richard.

Exactly what we need in the squad, but if he plays often I think we’re in trouble.

I feel a bit nonplussed about this one tbh. We are lacking experience in central defence but I reckon our inexperienced players are probably better than Keogh. They may be able to learn from him on the training ground, but do you sign players for that reason? Not coaches? Time will tell I guess. Perhaps he has offered to help us out for nowt, so he can get some coaching experience under Critch, who sees him as a potential good influence off the pitch. We shouldn't be throwing money at him IMO.

Well he's just had that decent payout from Derby, and I suspect we'll have been the only option at Championship level so I would hope he's on League One-type wages. But that's probably wishful thinking.

Older than you think Noddy--35years young on the 11th August 2021. Feck an Begorrah, he's an "Auld Un." Free transfer according to Transfer Market but still valued at 300k Euros(GBP257k). Similar age to Charlie Adam who some wanted to come back to Bloomers. :grinning:
