2021 Summer Transfer Thread

Sarah Clapson knows about as much as Sniffer Dog. The reason Paul Taylor left was because theres no passion for journalism at the post. Clapson is absolutely clueless. 5 years ago she was trying to write about Forest and getting slaughtered, now shes the sports editor.

I reckon 1.5-2m might be about right[/QUOT
100% sell Yates if the price is right. Maybe Figs and Samba if this new keeper proves to be better. By selling these types of players we will not be weaker, can generate some cash, and retain the Johnson's and Worrall's
I would also add Taylor to the sell list if there is interest. All predicated of course on quality incomings, and not quantity

No need to get anxious re lack of signings yet. Most EFL clubs back room teams only returned a couple of weeks ago and they have been concentrating on getting youth team players a few games and 1st team squad fit. Very few transfers completed, most have been frees. Few gentle enquiries and opening gambits to judge how land lies. Another week of friendlies, when younger players can catch the eye of the manager and then we are into serious business. Am sure CH has told recruitment team what he wants and would like majority before start of season. End of next week and a few rumours will start firming up or rejected. Keep positive guys, no relegation talk. Their are several clubs in much worse positions than us. Just read Derby, Hull, Reading forum.
