Too Much Summer Football?

I don’t know what the temperature was in Denmark yesterday and whether or not it was a factor in the terrible event of last night.
However, isn’t it about time the authorities do something about the madness of so much summer football and the profound physical effects on the players?

I think he will be counting his blessings, be massively grateful to those who provided aid on the pitch and, like Fabrice Muamba in 2012, consider this chapter of his life over - thankful that he at least is able to continue doing something with it.

Not sure there is too much Summer footie - as long as you stick with the WC and Euros (in the Northern hemisphere) it averages out at two weeks per year - but then the clubs go on tours which bumps it up. Quatar should be interesting...
