IMHO, The Star is a porn mag masquerading as a national newspaper judging by what they usually have on their cover. I dread to think what’s inside (not that I would know anything about “that sort of thing” to quote Fr. Ted”).I wish Chris Bailey had asked him if the premier League were still investigating the Club.
On the ESL, he is right, I think the vast majority accepted that City were a reluctant participant, but I don't think it was a grovelling apology as the Star would have us believe, just an honest statement.

You say that like it’s a bad thing.IMHO, The Star is a porn mag masquerading as a national newspaper judging by what they usually have on their cover. I dread to think what’s inside (not that I would know anything about “that sort of thing” to quote Fr. Ted”).
He doesn’t play good whenever he was given a chance by pep . Eric Garcia doesn’t play well the whole year still managed to get his Barcelona contract. This could well turnout to be another Savic type turnaround. Only time has to tell.More likely the realisation that he was stuck being a stand in for the next few years, had Stones been sold he may well have found himself in the front line and Pep did almost everything to say here I am playing you what more do you want? However the pull of your homeland is big and Barcelona could be the place as he will return there a far better player than he was when he left.

Well he is high profile and would be a real asset to any team as we know. A backhanded compliment if I ever saw one after the media pretty much ignored his contributions over the year except to label him as The Only Player to Commit Tactical Fouls in the Premier League.
I am still hopeful they can agree to keep him for another year - If Pep is looking to evolve his team he needs experienced leaders in the dressing room.
Fully deserved, plus the correct choice for a change.RUBEN

iF we had no intention of retaining him, why didn’t we give him the send off he deserved? He can still do a job for any top team and if City let him go, he is a bargain.
This is the situation as I understand it, talks are still ongoing with Fernandinho, and City could not put him on their retained list which had to be submitted, however Fernandinho has indicated he will only start talks after the season has ended. Ie whenever that is, presumably either 1st July or 9th June when the window opens.iF we had no intention of retaining him, why didn’t we give him the send off he deserved?
Willing to bet Ferna will sign for another year after talks, don't forget he is older than Rugney, so one year at a time.iF we had no intention of retaining him, why didn’t we give him the send off he deserved?
