Blackpool Football Club is appalled by the abhorrent, racist abuse received by Grant Ward following the team’s fixture at Sunderland last night.
The contents of the message, on his Instagram account, have since been reported to the social media platform and are now being investigated by the police.
Grant has the Club’s full and unwavering support in this matter, as we continue to collectively take a stand in the fight against racism and online hatred.
 
No excuse for any type of abuse in sport or anywhere else.Totally condemn
racists abuse and stand with the player........
 
Only an ignoramus would be in question for that sort of thing. No need for it. Rise above it Grant.
 
MOTM performance not seen the actual message but suggestions are that the account has been banned.
Anyone else find it unbelievable that these companies can't track the individual(s) concerned and pass on this information to the police?

Pity the Police can’t keep him well supplied and he cannot enforce suitable punishment like they used to do in the Isle of Man.A lot to answer fore the human rights act ...Human rights should be eared .

The concept of human rights is correct but it’s scope is not ,it protects in many cases the guilty and punishes the innocent.
