We're so easy to play against, we've been sussed out, the other teams know we only play one way, when Jack played we passed to Jack and hoped he did something so they man marked him and nullified the whole team.... now with him out, we have no cutting edge, no plan A let alone a plan B. Ollie isn't going to beat 3 defenders stuck to him, he's getting the ball too far down the pitch to utilise his full attributes. Super John McGinn is being relegated to regular John McGinn, hasn't been the same since his ankle injury. Traore is a showboater but the boat has a leak, been anonymous for weeks. Barkley is almost sabotaging us now at this stage, like playing with 10 again. Luiz won't be playing for man City next season. Konsa, Targett, Mings and Martinez were excellent. Need to find our shooting boots again soon.

The old unz? Aren't we supposed to be the youngest in the PL? But they do look knackered.

Frustrating. But simply shows we aren't good enough to be up there yet.

Great to see some semblance of balance in the debate Divine! A bit harsh swearing and being so dismissive of other posters comments but glad to see you’re feeling a bit more positive about the progress we’re making. It’s not all hunky-dory though. Plenty still to improve upon but as you imply, plenty to be encouraged by. (y)

Agree, but what chance have we got with DS. It's like trying to convert the Pope to Islam.

I like what Brendan Rodgers did yesterday. First half, Burnley had them pressured. Second half, change of tactics, Leicester pushed 10 mtrs further up the pitch and pressured Burnley. So from 1-0 down at half time, they won 1-2.

How many times have we done that this season?

To be fair Burnley must have been knackered after playing Arsenal earlier in the day.

We also only have 2 players in the box for open play crosses, usually Ollie and Bert.

It’s no coincidence that we score more goals when we are getting 4-5 players in the box versus just 2-3. Some games you can’t allow for time to get players in the box because you allow for defending players to get back too, but it’s a similar trend to last season when we did this.
