How close was that to a goal with the last touch. So much better today. Need to build on the confidence second half. 👏👏👏

Crewes player Tommy Lowery rang a bell. Back in the 70's they did have a player called Tommy Lowry, a defender. Wonder if anyone else can remember him ?

we started a bit shakey, but grew in confidence as the game went on. playing some nice balls forward. some nice movement. Crewe arent that bad, despite what our commentators are saying. they have opened us up a couple of times.
Good game for Bramhall, Johnson and Montsma.

That's a very good first half by us there.
Players who have been critisised of late playing well. Rogers and Johnson looking dangerous. Jones playing as well as he has since the turn of the year. Edun doing a good controlled job in the holding role and Bramall has had the best 45 minutes of his City career.
Everyone doing their job.
Just a couple of dodgy moments with Palmer which we'll put down to some bobbles on the pitch

Much better Imps .... Tayo excellent in midfield, Rogers lovely goal should quieten a few moaners. Just no more silly fresh air clearances please Palmer.

Well, a decent quality first half. We look good going forward and hopefully have another goal in us. Neither team looks great at the back. We are getting easily flustered and making unforced errors. Crewe seem a bit like Ipswich - neat possession but quite slow build up. The re-jig of the Lincoln team looks like it has had an impact.

This is a big improvement on the last two games . Edun definitely making a big difference in holding mid just doing the simple things and having awareness of where to move the ball quickly and covering where needed right to left. Nice also to see more of why we brought Bramall with some quality balls into the box. Please please please start quick 2nd half and grab that 2nd goal
