Vital Champions League
I was at the initial game which was abandoned and just goes to show how the memory works.......could have sworn Peter Taylor played that day.

I suspect that the above two entries have become mixed up.....
One talking about Hilaire and the other about Taylor
So well done to both of you for being correct
Dave Smith scored a brilliant winner, 3-2I was at both Palace home games. I think Venables had left then and an ex captain had taken charge. I think his name could have been Ian Evans.
If memory serves me right I think Dave Smith was brilliant in the second match.
I am sure if I am totally wrong somebody will come on and correct me
Major bollock dropped here by club.
Most of potential audience will no doubt be busy at meal time 14th Feb. I was going to buy this match but will not now.
Should have made it sociable time for the fans.
Bellocs!I thought you were on about Hilaire.
Good to see you contribute again Pauli. That was the weekend I finally had the opportunity to find out if your missus' name started with a C or a KI went to watch England play Holland one Valentines, ( Vassell, scored for England ) in Amsterdam. I mean Amsterdam of all places! - beat that!
I've been following the Imps since 1964 (or 5). The current Mrs. has only been around since 1996. She understands what comes first.
The B side is 'Here comes The Judge (live)' I don't know whether to be proud of being able to remember that or I'm such a geek.
On reflection, no actually I'll take the delight at being able to recall such trivia. Don't ask me any others though.
Agreed .Valentines day Christmas ,Easter, Halloween. The original origin is long lost to financial marketing . .Resist the pressure to conform and free yourself from the yolk of capitalism. There were people queing out side M&S Tritton road today .I can only guess it was to purchase those meals for two .Why queue in the blistering cold ?Why fall the marketing trap? The pressure for people to conform to these pressures leads to relationship issues and debt due to commerrcial expectations .It's Bell shit.stupid comment, would rather the imps win than how many watch the match.

Half my back grass is playable, the other half needs a bit of forking, and you would need to dodge around the flower bed. Will leave the marking out until morning.
