Any weather concerns in Rochdale that might put the game at risk? Their pitch wasn't the best last season

Weather looks dodgy in that part of the Country, considering our injury situation if it were postponed could benefit us.

It’s mornings like this when it really hits that no fans can go to matches. Away game at Rochdale is the perfect away day. Small friendly club, loyal small fan base, always rains and is cold there, dogged tough game and a great chippy outside the away end serving Holland Pie a local delicacy. You know the away fans at Rochdale are there for the right reasons and are the familiar faces you see around the country. You don’t get many special day trippers going to Deepdale to buy an half and half scarf.

By the way Holland pies are actually from Accrington.

Think they had issues with a new hybrid pitch which they laid for the spurs FA Cup match a couple of seasons ago but I think they have now sorted it in pre-season.
Unless there is a foot of snow on the pitch I cant see there being a problem with the game going ahead.

Weather forecast good. A positive.

Lack of fans reduce likelihood of anyone wanting to postpone due to "dangerous" conditions around the stadium. A positive.

Rochdale have had a long away trip in midweek. A positive.

We've taken 29 points from last 14 games.
We are in good league form. A positive.

It's Saturday and we have a match for our exciting team to play. A big positive.

Better if it's off, conditions won't suit us?

Not for me, I'm feeling positive!!

Interesting game, they played decent football at Spotland last year but we were pretty atrocious (it was one of the McCombe games). Toffolo basically drove us on to a point at the end from what I recall. We're a much more established L1 side than then, but they must have confidence from smashing Plymouth 4-0 in the week? Dodgy home record or not.

Woodhead and Snake Passes were closed due to snow yesterday but none of that has made it down the hill into the Greater Manchester area.

Gutted to be not going today we would have took a good 1000-1500 today and we would have made some noise!,
Ahem, for the purposes of ifollow income I would like to say that our away support is crap, no one is interested and we'd have been lucky to get a coach load and a couple of cars to this one.
