Bristol City v Swansea City - Sat 24 Oct 2020 3pm
So we move on to the next match after that awful midweek display against Coventry. Steve Cooper was very forthright in his after match comments. There was “not enough intensity or endeavour “ first half and he had to ask the players to “work harder second half to match Coventry’s work rate”. Then “for 25 minutes of the second half, we had momentum but for some reason we gave it up and ended up being deep conceding too many balls in the box”.

For our third match in seven days in this crowded match scheduling, we travel to Ashton Gate and Bristol City, which is always a tough game.
They too had a good start to the season but came unstuck with a 0-1 defeat at home to Middlesborough on Tuesday night, Reading replacing them at the top of the table.
Swans have lost their way a bit after the International break (which has been a disturbing trend each time) and dropped to sixth spot, taking only one point from the last two games.
Kasey Palmer, our loanee from Bristol City is ineligible to play.
Joel Latibeaudiere is recovering from injury, and so is George Byers.
Ryan Bennett will keep his place after an impressive start. Ryan Manning should get his chance to impress, and Jay Fulton too, he did well when he came on to replace Gyokeres on Tuesday. As for some of the others who are playing poorly, they need to up their game or be dropped.
The Robins results so far:
W4 D1 L1 F10 A5 GD5 Pts13
12/9 B.City 2 - Coventry 1
20/9 Stoke 0 - B.City 2
27/9 B.City 2 - S.Wed 0
3/10 N.Forest 1 - B.City 2
17/10 Barnsley 2 - B.City 2

20/10 B.City 0 - M’boro 1

Bristol City equalise 83’ Wells converts penalty, conceded by Roberts
Shocking penalty decision by renowned card happy ref Oliver Langford.
He has given 5 yellow cards for Swansea to 1 for Bristol.

Oliver “Bonnie” Langford, the card happy ref has done it again.
Five yellow cards and a very doubtful penalty against Swansea.
Even Bristol City’s manager spoke out -
Dean Holden on the penalty: “I’d have been disappointed if it was given against us I have to say.”
Says it all really, he stole the win from us.
