Rate The Players v Doncaster Rovers

Two successive defeats, but playing well; still only two points behind leaders Ipswich (the latest happy beneficiaries of the Bolton debacle) and the guarantee that we will be back in the top six with a win over Fleetwood next week. On we go, only Everton up next.

6.0 is the par score, use half-marks and give us your comments too.

Deadline is 5pm on Tuesday.

Vickers - 6.50 - Again not much to do, let down by individuals' defensive errors.
Eardley - 6.50 - Did alright, covered well and supported midfield.
Bostwick - 5.00 - You are better than this, too many mistakes, positionally vulnerable, not 100%?
Shackell - 7.00 - Covered for your mates, snuffed out chances, defended well.
Toffolo - 7.00 - Ran his heart out, tackled well, good display.
O'Connor - 7.00 - Tidied up the midfield, picked up the ball and set us in motion.
Anderson - 6.00 - Booking affected his combativeness, came inside once which completely fooled them, could have tried a left foot shot?
Morrell - 8.00 - Our little midfield dynamo, numerous interceptions some great interplay, could possibly be a bit greedier and have a crack on his own. MOM
Grant - 7.50 - Ran all over, worked hard and opened his account on the scoresheet.
Payne - 7.00 - Loses a point for poor shooting and not clearing the ball prior to their second goal. Otherwise, he was everywhere and very industrious with it.
Walker - 6.50 - Makes space, runs into channels, often double marked but a striker has to create and take chances.

Andrade - 7.00 - Definitely made a difference, needed to start, they were scared of him, could have scored, should have had a penalty.
Akinde - 5.00 - Anonymous, needed to make himself more available, and create a decent strike on goal, should have put a free header on target.

Vickers 6.5 Did little wrong
Eardley 7.0 Another consistent performance
Toffolo 7.5 Linked superbly with Grant
Bostwick 6.0 Okay - had his hands full against strong, skilful and speedy opponent
Shackell 7.0 Defended well as always
Grant 5.0 Obvious skill in possession but will need some fast tracking in how to defend when they have the ball. Culpable for winning goal.
Morrell 7.0 Good player
O'Connor 7.0 Competed well in midfield
Anderson 6.5 Steady but unspectacular
Payne 7.0 Industrious but initial error in lead up to winning goal
Walker 7.0 Peripheral at times but created our goal

Akinde 7.0 We created more after he came on, whatever his critics will say. Should have got header on target near end but no sitter.
Andrade 7.5 Unlucky not to score from header from corner and win a penalty.

Vickers - 7 - let down by defence for both goals, great save just before half time to keep us in it; looking to get quick attacks moving
Eardley - 6- mixed, caught out, a few sloppy passes, below usual standards.
Bostwick - 6 - seriously done by a strong, quick striker for the first goal and a few other dodgy moments. Not his best day.
Shackell-7- also vulnerable at times, won penalty second half, ref didn't see it..
Toffolo - 8 - phenomenal work down the left, Grant not always on same wavelength.
O'Connor - 7 - diligent
Anderson - 7 had his moments, but yellow card then one (harsh) foul against justified sub as risk of red too great.
Morrell - 8.5 - MoM, did the ferret work but creative and got forward too.
Grant - 5.5 - work in progress, got into postion for goal well, should have been awarded penalty. But back on his heels too often, poor situational awareness and cover for defence. More culpable than most in a poor second goal.
Payne - 8 - fizzed; pretty well only time lost ball led to goal but could have been prevented by others after initial error; finishing is a weakness.
Walker - 7 - worked hard, created goal, no real chances.

Andrade - 7 -effective, worried defence, nearly scored with header.
Akinde -7 - better link-up than Walker, lets see both on? Couldn't quite get header down late in the match.

Vickers - 7 - Did all he could
Eardley - 6 - Standard, but not Neal Eardley's standard
Bostwick - 5.5 - Worst I've seen him play
Shackell - 6.5 - Should have had a pen?
Toffolo - 7 - Taken to League One brilliantly
O'Connor - 6 - Decent but unable to really create too much
Anderson - 6 - Little opportunity to get his head down, probably less effective than Grant and Bruno when we're camped around their box
Morrell - 6 - As with MO'C
Grant - 7 - I feel he's been underrated this season, took his goal well
Payne - 7 - Quality player, personally feel it's harsh to knock him down for the winner, wasn't really a situation we should have conceded from
Walker - 7 - Good cross but perhaps demonstrates an issue, he likes to peel away with great runs to make space but we're not often filling that space. However, the positions he generates keep creating goals.

Andrade - 7 - Unlucky in generaly
Akinde - 6 - Unable to impose
