Millers To Play Owls In Carabao Cup

Rotherham United will take on Sheffield Wednesday at the New York Stadium in the second round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, 28th August. The game is a 7.45pm kick-off.

Why are we not playing on our usual Tuesday evening?

It could be a number of reasons - it's on the 'red button' and they can only put so many on per night. To give us that extra day to get tickets? Because the team from S6 usually play on Wednesdays?

I know which I think!

That's why I asked! I am just hoping it's not THEIR choice!
We should play on a Tuesday, that's what we do!

I might be wrong but I have a feeling we played on a Wednesday last year because of the red button - probably in this competition when we played Everton?
