Ticketing System Feedback Thread

Hi Luke Imp & all,

Thank you for starting this thread and contributing to it so constructively over the past season or so.

Just to note and confirm, 2019-20 is our last season under the current Eventbrite contract.

We met with the development team from Eventbrite this week and are pleased to learn some further changes will be in place for next season, albeit there are still a number of areas we would like to see further progress.

With the help of the Supporters Board and and external consultant who has extensive experience in this remit (working on a voluntary basis), we are currently drafting the tender specification and our minimum requirements of our chosen ticketing platform for the 2020 season onwards.

I would expect Eventbrite to put a solid case forward for continuing the contract, but equally it is a competitive market and we are determined to find the best solution for LCFC fans from a usability and cost perspective.

Once again thank you for providing constructive feedback.

All very well, but which bits do you want to see changed?

Thanks, Liam.
Hope you've been able to read most of what's been said and draw out at least the most common issues we have encountered along the way.
Everyone agrees online ticketing is a big improvement, but I also think most of us agree things can be done better in various areas.
Looking forward to the tweeks for next season and anything that can take things further forward with this process beyond that.

Worth noting that the last set of minutes from the supporters board meeting suggest that they will now be down to the final three in the process of finding a new ticketing partner.

'New Ticketing Partner - The nine remaining tenders will be reduced to a shortlist of three who will meet with club representatives and members of the Supporters Board on 25th July 2019.'

They aren't yet as the process has been put back a couple of weeks because it is all a bit hectic with other stuff. But presentations will be made shortly once the season is under way. Still plenty of time to build a bespoke platform.
